GLASSBORO, NJ - Rowan University hosts Widener University on Friday night in the season opener for both teams. The Profs are coming off a 9-3 campaign, a share of the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championship and a NCAA Division III Championship Tournament appearance. Widener finished 2013 with a 6-4 mark and was tied for third in the Middle Atlantic Conference.

This is just the second meeting between the Profs and the Pride. The previous game was a 41-0 victory for Rowan in Glassboro during the 2007 season.
