Results

PRINCETON, NJ – The Rowan University men's indoor track team competed at the Princeton University Invitational on Sunday. 

Mike Carotenuto (sr. Port Monmouth, NJ/Middletown N.) finished second (4:17.58) in the one mile and fourth (1:57.99) in the 800 meters.   Frank Rubino (so. Belle Mead, NJ/Montgomery) took third place in the long jump with 21' 9.5" (6.64 meters).  The 4x400 meter relay of Charles Boon (fr. Hillsborough, NJ/Hillsborough), Tyler Sheilds (fr. Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview Reg.), Ali Ejaz (sr. Glassboro, NJ/Glassboro) and Evan Fry (fr. Stewartsville, NJ/Phillipsburg) came in third with a time of 3:28.20. 

Boon had a fourth place (1:08.97) in the 500 meters followed by Sheilds, fifth (1:11.19) and Mike Parrillo (so. Whippany, NJ/Whippany Park), sixth (1:11.31) respectively.  Jon Sewnig (jr. Yardville, NJ/Notre Dame) was sixth (4:28.71) in the one mile while Jesse Spector (jr. Rockaway, NJ/Morris Hills) and Carlos Coronado (fr. Hackensack, NJ/Hackensack) were 11th (4:35.02) and 12th (4:35.32) respectively.  Mike Lewis (jr. Downingtown, PA/Downingtown W.) had an eighth place (2:01.72) in the 800 meters.

Blake Ballas (fr. Hammonton, NJ/Hammonton) finished sixth (41' 4.5", 12.61 meters) in the weight throw.  Glenn Kohles (so. Toms River, NJ/Toms River E.) came in seventh (49', 11", 15.21 meters) in the shot put followed by Frank Visconti (sr. Berlin, NJ/Eastern Reg.), eighth (46' 3.5", 14.11 meters) and Dalton Trembow (so. New Egypt, NJ/New Egypt), ninth (43' 7.75, 13.30 meters).  Rob Buzby (jr. Medford, NJ/Shawnee) finished 11th (9:16.10) in the 3000 meters and Tim Dole (so. Mantua, NJ/Clearview Reg.) was 13th (9:18.85). Ejaz came in 14th (7.15) in the 60 meter dash.  Fry took 17th (52.68) in the 400 meters.

Next, Rowan travels to the Armory on Saturday, March 1 for the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships at 5 p.m.
