FAIRFAX, VA – The Rowan University men's indoor track team traveled to Virginia on Saturday for the Patriot Games, which were held at George Mason University.

Glenn Kohles (so. Toms River, NJ/Toms River E.) had a fifth place in the shot put with a throw of 47' 5" (14.45 meters).  Mike Carotenuto (sr. Port Monmouth, NJ/Middletown N.) finished eighth (4:18.89) in the one mile run.  The 4x400 meter relay took 12th place (3:30.47) with Charles Boon (fr. Hillsborough, NJ/Hillsborough), Tyler Sheilds (fr. Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview Reg.), Mike Parrillo (so. Whippany, NJ/Whippany Park) and Ali Ejaz (sr. Glassboro, NJ/Glassboro).  Jon Sewnig (jr. Yardville, NJ/Notre Dame) came in 13th (8:49.82) in the 3000 meters. 

Dalton Trembow (so. New Egypt, NJ/New Egypt) was 16th (38' 9", 11.81 meters) in the shot put.  Ejaz finished 17th (23.05) in the 200 meters and 25th (7.18) in the 60 meters.  Sheilds came in 20th (2:03.42) in the 800 meters and Boon was 23rd (2:04.59).  Parrillo was 24th (54.44) in the 400 meters.  Ethan Wolmark (sr. Medford, NJ/Shawnee) took 25th (9:17.57) in the 3000 meters and Rob Buzby (jr. Medford, NJ/Shawnee) was 27th (9:21.74).  

Next week, Rowan will compete at the Amory Collegiate Invitational on Friday and Saturday, February 7 and 8.
