Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University field hockey team shut out Wesley College, 6-0 on Wednesday night. The Profs have a five-game win streak.

Marisa Marini (jr. Carneys Point, NJ/Padua Academy (DE)) contributed with one goal and two assists. Forwards
Kellie Campbell (sr. Clark, NJ/Arthur L. Johnson) and
Jenna Pressler (so. Medford, NJ/Shawnee) each chipped in with a goal and an assist.

Sam Browne (jr. West Milford, NJ/West Milford) produced one goal and midfielder
Karlee Henderson (sr. Elmer, NJ/Woodstown) registered an assist. The Profs are 8-3 overall while the Wolverines have a 5-7 record.
For the Profs, goalie
Carly DeMarco (fr. Gloucester City, NJ/Gloucester City) played 25:18 and goalie
Kim Pyhel (so. Chatham, NJ/Chatham) made two saves in 44:42. Pyhel stopped a penalty stroke with 8:16 remaining. The Wolverines' goaltending duties were shared by Sarah Daniels (sr. Pocomoke, MD/Washington), Kayla Fromal (jr. Middletown, DE/Appoquinimink) and Rebecca Kolenkiewicz (so. Jenkintown, PA/Jenkintown). In the first half, Daniels stopped five shots. Fromal was in the cage for 30:11 in the final period and had three saves. Kolenkiewicz played the last 4:49.
Rowan scored three goals in each half. Browne deflected in a shot by Marini at 2:32 for the first one. Marini hit the cage (8:10) on Campbell's penalty corner pass. James scored with an assist from Marini (21:26).
Campbell made the score 4-0 (50:45) with a penalty stroke. Henderson's shot was tipped in by Pressler at 61:03. James had the final goal (64:36) when she pushed the ball over the line after a feed from Pressler.
Rowan travels to conference opponent Richard Stockton College on Saturday, October 11 for a noon game.
