Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women's soccer team topped New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) opponent New Jersey City University, 4-0 on Senior Day Saturday afternoon.
The Profs improve to 11-4-1 overall and they are 6-1-1 in the conference. The Gothic Knights are 3-9-2 overall with a 0-8 NJAC mark. Goalkeepers
Carleigh Trivino (so. Caldwell, NJ/Caldwell) and
Hayley Grimm (fr. Galloway, NJ/Absegami) combined for the shutout. Goalie Brittany Hoffman (sr. McMurray, PA/Peters Twp.) made 18 saves for New Jersey City.

Erika Suhl (sr. Brick, NJ/Brick Mem.) tallied two goals and midfielder
Melissa Kelly (fr. Parsippany, NJ/DePaul Catholic) registered three assists. Back
Deandra Turchi (gr. Turnersville, NJ/Paul VI) recorded one goal and one assist. Midfielder
Megan Carchidi (so. Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview Reg.) scored one time and forward
Michelle Carpino (fr. Brick, NJ/Brick Twp.) had an assist.
Rowan's first goal was at 21:27. Turchi sent a ball ahead that was headed forward by Carpino. Carchidi settled the ball and deposited it into the net. Kelly booted a cross from the left side that Suhl converted from the right side of the box (51:24). Turchi scored at 53:27 after a pass from Kelly. Kelly found Suhl again for the final goal at 55:37.
The Profs finish the regular season at The College of New Jersey on Tuesday, October 28 at 7:30 p.m.
