NEW YORK, NY – Rowan University started the men's indoor track season at the Ramapo College Indoor Select on Saturday, which was held at the Armory.

Ali Ejaz (sr. Glassboro, NJ/Glassboro) ran 22.65 in the 200 meters for fifth place.  Frank Visconti (sr. Berlin, NJ/Eastern Reg.) took fifth in the shot put with a throw of 48' 0.75" (14.65 meters). 

The distance medley relay finished in sixth place with a time of 10:55.57.  The 4x400 meter relay was 11th in 3:30.11.  Mike Carotenuto (sr. Port Monmouth, NJ/Middletown N.), Charles Boon (fr. Hillsborough, NJ/Hillsborough), Tyler Sheilds (fr. Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview Reg.) and Mike Lewis (jr. Downingtown, PA/Downingtown W.) were on the distance medley relay.  The 4x400 relay included Boon, Sheilds, Mike Parillo (so. Whippany, NJ/Whippany Park) and Ejaz.  

Carotenuto had an 11th place (1:59.96) in the 800 meters.  Jack Curry (sr. Roosevelt, NJ/Hightstown) tied for 11th in the high jump (5' 10", 1.78 meters).  He also came in 13th (38' 8.25", 11.79 meters) in the triple jump.

Brendan Dugan (so. Westfield, NJ/Westfield) took 14th (7.27) in the 60 meters.  Carlos Coronado (fr. Hackensack, NJ/Hackensack) finished 14th (9:18.98) in the 3000 meters.  Rob Buzby (jr. Medford, NJ/Shawnee) was 17th (4:46.12) in the mile run.  Kyle Opher (jr. Pine Hill, NJ/Overbrook) took 17th place in the long jump with 19' 5.25" (5.92 meters).  

Next, Rowan travels to Princeton University on Saturday, January 25 for the Tiger Open at 11 a.m.
