PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Rowan University men’s track team had three relays that competed at the Penn Relays on Friday. 

The Profs finished 21st in the 4x100 meter relay heats with a season top time of 41.46.  The 4x100 included Brandon Taylor (sr. Woodstown, NJ/Woodstown), Tyler Coulbourn (fr. Franklinville, NJ/Delsea Reg.), Frank Rubino (fr. Belle Mead, NJ/Montgomery) and Ali Ejaz (sr. Glassboro, NJ/Glassboro).  Their time is currently fourth in the NCAA Division III. 

Demetrius Rooks (sr. Galloway, NJ/Absegami) took 15th (53.15) in the 400 meters hurdles championships.  The 4x400 meter relay with Taylor, Taylor Purdue (sr. Highland Lakes, NJ/Vernon Twp.), Ejaz and Rooks came in 21st (3:14.18).  It is the 4x400 meter relay’s second best time this season.  The 4x400 meter relay ran 3:12.84 at the Wake Forest Open and that time is second in the nation.

The 4x200 meter relay was 33rd in 1:30.13.  Josh McGriff (sr. Flemington, NJ/Hunterdon Central Reg.), Coulbourn, Brendan Dugan (fr. Westfield, NJ/Westfield) and Marcus Rawls (jr. North Brunswick, NJ/Florence Twp. Mem.) were on the 4x200.
