PHILADELPHIA, PA – Rowan University’s Jon Sewnig competed in the 5,000 meters at the Penn Relays on Thursday night. 

Sewnig (so. Yardville, NJ/Notre Dame) finished 16th with a time of 14:54.40 in the Olympic Development race.  His time was a career best.

At the Penn Relays on Friday, Demetrius Rooks (sr. Galloway, NJ/Absegami) has qualified for the 400 meter hurdles championships at 9 a.m.  The Profs will run in the 4x100 (12:35 p.m.), 4x200 (1:30 p.m.) and 4x400 (4:15 p.m.) meter relays.
