NEW YORK, NY – The Rowan University men’s indoor track team had five individuals and one relay that competed at the Eastern College Athletic Conference Championships.  The two-day championships took place at the Armory.

The 4x400 meter relay took fifth place (3:20.24) with Taylor Purdue (sr. Highland Lakes, NJ/Vernon Twp.), Will Alston (sr. Matawan, NJ/Matawan Reg.), Ali Ejaz (jr. Glassboro, NJ/Glassboro) and Josh McGriff (sr. Flemington, NJ/Hunterdon Central Reg.).   

Mike Carotenuto (sr. Port Monmouth, NJ/Middletown N.) came in sixth in the one mile with a time of 4:19.25.  Joe Mineo (sr. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) finished eighth in the high jump with a height of 6’ 5” (1.96 meters).  Purdue had a 10th place (49.74) in the 400 meters.

On Friday, Glenn Kohles (fr. Toms River, NJ/Toms River) was 11th in the shot put with a throw of 45’ 8.5” (13.93 meters).
