NEW YORK, NY – Rowan University’s Glenn Kohles took 11th place in the shot put at the Eastern College Athletic Conference Championships on Friday at the Armory. The two-day championships continue on Saturday at 10 a.m.
With his throw of 45’ 8.5” (13.93 meters) in the finals, Kohles (fr. Toms River, NJ/Toms River E.) grabbed 11th in a field of 19 competitors.
On the second day, the Profs are competing in five different events. Michael Carotenuto (sr. Port Monmouth, NJ/Middletown N.) will start the day at 10:52 a.m. in the mile with Taylor Purdue (sr. Highland Lakes/Vernon Twp.) following at 11:35 a.m. in the 400 meters.
At 12:30 p.m., Joe Mineo (sr. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) will compete in the high jump and at 1:30 p.m., Ali Ejaz (jr. Glassboro, NJ/Glassboro) will take to the track for the 200 meters. The 4x400 meter relay team will close out the weekend with its 2:15 p.m. scheduled start.
