Box Score WILKES-BARRE, PA – The Rowan University women's soccer team defeated Wilkes University, 1-0 in a nonconference game on Wednesday night.

Midfielder/back Victoria Camera (jr. Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton W.) scored the winning goal at 17:32 off a corner kick by forward Dayna Sakalsky (sr. Long Valley, NJ/West Morris Central).  It was Camera's fourth goal on the season. 

The Profs are 12-1 overall with an eight-game win streak.  This week, Rowan is ranked fifth in the South Atlantic Region and is tied for 25th in the nation.  The Colonels are 6-4-2 overall. 

Goalkeeper Carleigh Trivino (fr. Caldwell, NJ/Caldwell) made three saves for her fifth shutout.  For Wilkes, goalie Kate Mahoney (so. Kingston, NH/Central Catholic) stopped two shots in the first half and goalie Kristy Colangelo (so. Staten Island, NY/St. Joseph by the Sea) had two saves in the second.  The Profs edged the Colonels in shots, 8-7.
