Field Hockey Defeats Ramapo College, 4-0

Box Score MAHWAH, NJ – The Rowan University field hockey team defeated Ramapo College, 4-0 in a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) game on Tuesday. 

Forward Kellie Campbell (jr. Clark, NJ/Arthur L. Johnson) had the Profs' first goal at 4:46 on a penalty stroke.  Forward Johanna James (so. Gloucester City, NJ/Gloucester) scored at 42:16 with an assist from forward Jenna Pressler (fr. Medford, NJ/Shawnee). Forward Amy McKeever (sr. West Deptford, NJ/West Deptford) produced the third goal at 60:15 and Pressler had the assist.  With 3:34 remaining, forward Courtney Aquino (fr. Hammonton, NJ/Hammonton) had the final goal unassisted. 

Rowan has a 10-6 record with a 3-2 conference mark.  Ramapo drops to 0-15 overall and 0-5 in the NJAC.  Goalie Steph Colombo (sr. Moorestown, NJ/Camden Catholic) recorded the shutout, which was her second on the season.  For the Roadrunners, goalie Emily Kramer (fr. West Windsor, NJ/West Windsor-Plainsboro S.) stopped 13 shots in 64 minutes.  Goalie Alicia Lyons (jr. Spring Lake Heights, NJ/Manasquan) played the remainder of the game.

Rowan plays its last contest of the regular season at William Paterson University on Saturday, November 2 at 1 p.m.
