MEDFORD, MA – The Rowan University indoor track teams have 10 athletes competing at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships. The championships are Friday and Saturday, March 6 and 7 at the Gantcher Center on the campus of Tufts University.

On Friday, Heidi DeGuzman (fr. Central Islip, NY/Pennsauken) ran a time of 7.35 in the 55 meter dash trials and qualified for the final. The 55 meter dash final is on Saturday at 1:10 p.m.

The women’s 4x200 meter relay came in seventh place (1:48.71) with DeGuzman, Amirah Abdullah (fr. Erial, NJ/Timber Creek), Amira Muneer (fr. Ewing, NJ/Ewing) and Tamara Jones (so. Camden, NJ/Woodrow Wilson). The distance medley relay finished 11th in 12:44.72. The relay consisted of Lisa Jones (jr. Mays Landing, NJ/Oakcrest), Lori Oglesby (fr. Williamstown, NJ/Buena Reg.), Alli Catenacci (so. Mullica Hill, NJ/Kingsway Reg.) and Eileen O’Mara (fr. Haddonfield, NJ/Haddon Twp.).
