GLENSIDE, PA – Three players scored in double figures to lead the Rowan University women’s basketball team over Arcadia University, 62-43 in a nonconference game on Saturday afternoon. 
Guard Gina Catanzariti (so. Cinnaminson, NJ/Cinnaminson) led the Profs with a career high 18 points. She also compiled five rebounds, four assists and four steals. Forward Ashley Cieplicki (sr. Haworth, NJ/Dumont) contributed with 16 points and forward Jessica Nimbley (jr. Middletown, NJ/St. John Vianney) added 15. Nimbley also pulled down six boards. Guard Brynn DeGroff (sr. Wildwood Crest, NJ/Wildwood) recorded seven boards and six steals. 
Rowan has a 6-3 record while Arcadia falls to 1-6 on the season. For the Knights, guard Shannon Bustin (sr. Glenolden, PA/Interboro) scored 12 points. Forward Kim Lomas (so. Somerdale, NJ/Sterling) totaled 11 points and nine rebounds. Forward Brittany Bontemps (so. Yardley, PA/Villa Joseph Marie) registered seven points and seven rebounds. Center Caitlin Sparks (gr. Harleysville, PA/Souderton Area) had seven boards and six points. 
In the first half, Rowan led by eight points (12-4) at 14:21 after a layup by Cieplicki. Bustin’s basket at the 12 minute mark cut the deficit to five points (14-9). The Profs scored eight straight points to lead 22-9 with 6:08 left. Catanzariti contributed with four points while Cieplicki and Nimbley had two apiece. With 2:17 left, Rowan was ahead 28-15 after forward Amanda Jennings (jr. Turnersville, NJ/Washington Twp.) made a layup. The Knights ended the period with six unanswered points to trail by seven (28-21) at the break. Bustin scored 12 points while Catanzariti had 10. 
Arcadia pulled within three points (32-29) at 15:07 in the second half after two foul shots by Bontemps. Rowan followed with an 8-1 surge to lead by 10 (40-30) with 8:38 remaining. Cieplicki made five of the eight points. Catanzariti’s two free throws put the Profs up 51-36 with 3:30 on the clock. Nimbley contributed with baskets at 1:46 and 1:17 that made the score 60-40. Guard Kim Milligan (jr. Crofton, MD/South River) hit a three-pointer for the Knights with 53 seconds left. Catanzariti made the final two points of the game (:35) at the line. Nimbley was the scoring leader in the second half with 13 points.
