POMONA, NJ – Five different players each scored a goal to lead the Rowan University field hockey team over Richard Stockton College, 5-0 in a conference game on Thursday.

The Profs were ahead 3-0 after the first half. Forward Lauren Ross (so. Gloucester City, NJ/Gloucester) started the scoring at 11:49 on a pass from forward Kiley Graham (sr. Williamstown, NJ/Shawnee). Forward Amanda Greene (sr. Thorofare, NJ/Gloucester) had the second goal unassisted at 14:31. Midfielder Rachael Dix (fr. Egg Harbor Twp., NJ/Egg Harbor Twp.) made it 3-0 with 42 seconds left in the period.

In the second half, Graham hit the Ospreys’ cage at 53:26 with an assist from Greene. Midfielder Julie Cairone (fr. Medford, NJ/Shawnee) scored the final goal at 54:51 with a feed from Greene.

Rowan has an overall record of 12-3 and a 3-1 mark in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. Richard Stockton drops to 3-13 on the season and 0-5 in the conference. The Profs totaled 35 shots while the Ospreys had two. Goalie Lisa Apt (fr. Mays Landing, NJ/Oakcrest) made one save for her third shutout of the season. For Stockton, goalie Debi O’Kane (so. Cologne, NJ/Absegami) started and stopped 15 shots in 61:54. Goalie Christine Harvey (fr. Edgewood, MD/Aberdeen) was in the net for the remainder of the game and had one save.

Rowan travels to FDU-Florham on Saturday, November 1 for a 5:30 p.m. nonconference game.
