Rowan Ends Regular Season With Scoreless Tie at Rutgers-Camden

CAMDEN, NJ – The Rowan University women’s soccer team ended the regular season with a scoreless tie after two overtimes at conference opponent Rutgers-Camden on Wednesday night.

The Profs have an overall record of 13-0-2 and a 7-0-2 mark in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC). The Scarlet Raptors are 8-10-2 overall and 2-6-1 in the conference.

Rowan will be the second seed in the NJAC Championship Tournament. The Profs receive a bye in the first round on Saturday, November 1 and they will host a semifinal game on Wednesday, November 5 at 7 p.m. The championship game is slated for Saturday, November 8.

The Profs out shot the Scarlet Raptors, 19-4. In the Rutgers-Camden net, goalie Natalie Browne (jr. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) made nine saves. For Rowan, goalie Sarah Volkomer (jr. Glen Rock, NJ/Glen Rock) stopped two shots.
