GLASSBORO, NJ – Forward Lauren Ross scored two goals in Rowan University’s 6-0 win over visiting SUNY Oneonta on Saturday afternoon.

The Profs also had one goal from forwards Amanda Greene (sr. Thorofare, NJ/Gloucester) and Bailey Van Jura (fr. Tunkhannock, PA/Dallas) and backs Kim Brozosky (sr. Richwood, NJ/Clearview Reg.) and Lauren Conner (fr. Egg Harbor Twp., NJ/Egg Harbor). Forward Nicole Valianti (so. Oaklyn, NJ/Collingswood) and midfielder Rachael Dix (fr. Egg Harbor Twp., NJ/Egg Harbor) had one assist apiece.

Rowan recorded 43 shots while Oneonta only had two. For the Red Dragons, goalie Erika Dombkowski (sr. Carmel, NY/Carmel) recorded 21 saves. Goalie Lisa Apt (fr. Mays Landing, NJ/Oakcrest) started for the Profs and made one save. Goalie Brittney Galloway (fr. Woodbury Heights, NJ/Gateway Reg.) replaced Apt and played the final 13:29. Rowan is ranked 11th in the nation and has an 11-3 record. Oneonta drops to 5-11 overall.

Greene put Rowan on the scoreboard with an unassisted goal at 9:05. It was her 17th goal on the season. At 13:45, Ross (so. Gloucester City, NJ/Gloucester) knocked in a pass from Valianti to put the Profs up 2-0 at the intermission. Brozosky made it 3-0 with a shot at 41:31 to the lower right corner of the cage. Conner and Ross followed with goals at 44:02 and 56:32 respectively. Van Jura had the final goal with 1:49 left in the game and Dix assisted.

Rowan plays at conference opponent Richard Stockton College on Thursday, October 30 at 4 p.m.
