PHOENIXVILLE, PA – The Rowan University women’s volleyball team defeated Valley Forge Christian College, 3-0 on Thursday night. The Profs had set scores of 25-14, 25-10 and 25-8.

Outside hitter Alexis Louie (sr. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) totaled 14 kills and 16 digs for Rowan. Setter Sarah Betancourt (fr. Harrington, NJ/Northern Valley Old Tappan) compiled 19 assists, five service aces and five digs.

Libero Casey Roselle (so. Sparta, NJ/Sparta) and outside hitter Karen Ramirez (jr. Bogota, NJ/Bogota) contributed with 17 and 15 digs respectively. Rowan improves to 6-10 on the season while Valley Forge Christian drops to 3-11 overall.

Rowan travels to Washington College (MD) on Saturday, October 4. The first match is against Washington at 11 a.m. and the second versus Marymount University at 1 p.m.
