SCRANTON, PA – Forward Tommy Orr scored on a penalty kick to lead Rowan University to a 1-0 win over Marywood University on Sunday.

Rowan improves to 5-7-3, while Marywood has an 8-5 record. Orr converted on a penalty kick with 1:25 left in the first half. It was Orr’s second goal of the season.

Rowan out shot Marywood, 9-5. Goalkeeper Charlie Cunliffe (so. Lakewood, NJ/Lakewood) made two saves in the Profs’ net. Goalie John Albanese (fr. Nanticoke, PA/Greater Nanticoke Area) stopped five shots for the Pacers.

Rowan hosts conference opponent Kean University on Wednesday, October 15 at 7 p.m.
