GLASSBORO, NJ – Midfielder Paula Price scored the game winning goal for the Juniata College field hockey team in a 1-0 shutout against Rowan University.

Price's shot crossed the goal crease and went in the left corner of the Profs’ goal at 19:10 into the second half.  Leslie Stern was credited with the assist.

Juniata (4-1) is ranked 19th this week in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Poll while Rowan (3-2) is 10th.

Goalie Abby Funk recorded a shutout with nine saves. Profs’ goalie Amanda Cucinotti (Sr. Voorhees, NJ/Cherry Hill E.) had five saves. Rowan ended the game with 18 shots while Juniata had six.

Rowan’s next game is at William Paterson on Friday, September 21 at 7 p.m.
