OSHKOSH, WI – Aaron Braxton finished 13th in the shot put at the NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh on Saturday.
Braxton (so. Swedesboro, NJ/Kingsway Reg.) had a throw of 50’6” (15.39 meters). Justin Rodhe of Mount Union College won the shot put with 59'3.5" (18.07 meters). On Thursday, Braxton took fourth place in the discus with a throw of 157’11” (48.13 meters) for All-America. At this year’s indoor championships, Braxton finished seventh in the shot put with a throw of 52’ 6.75” (16.02 meters) and was named an All-American.
Tim Bowser (sr. Millville, NJ/Millville) came in 13th place in the high jump with 6’4.75” (1.95 meters). It was Bowser’s third appearance at the NCAA Championships. In 2005, he tied for fourth place with 6’9” (2.06 meters) for All-American. Last year, Bowser was injured during warm-ups at the national championships.
