IMMACULATA, PA – The Rowan University women’s volleyball team defeated Immaculata University, 3-0 in a non-conference match on Wednesday night.

With the win, Rowan improves to 10-15, while Immaculata has a 5-17 record. The Profs won with game scores of 30-24, 30-25 and 30-23.

Rowan was led by outside hitter Siobahn Young (fr. Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview Reg.) with 16 kills, six digs and four service aces. Outside hitter Alexis Louie (jr. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) followed with 12 kills and three digs. Middle blocker Theresa Pecoraro (sr. Cresskill, NJ/Cresskill) recorded seven digs and five kills. Defensive specialists Casey Roselle (fr. Sparta, NJ/Sparta) and Kacey Gee (fr. Middletown, DE/Caravel Academy) added 12 and 11 digs respectively. Setter Chrissy McKay (so. Paramus, NJ/Paramus) compiled 30 assists.

For Immaculata, middle hitter Jayme Lenosky totaled 10 kills, five digs and four aces. Outside hitter Jessica Lynch contributed with eight kills, six digs and four service aces. Outside hitter/defensive specialist Lisa Bifulco posted nine digs.

Rowan hosts a tri-match with Bryn Mawr College and Delaware Valley College on Saturday, October 27. Rowan plays Bryn Mawr at 10 a.m. and Delaware Valley at 2 p.m.
