GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women’s volleyball team defeated non-conference opponent Valley Forge Christian College 3-0 on Saturday.

Rowan had game scores of 30-20, 30-25 and 30-10. The win improves the Profs’ record to 4-10 on the year. The Patriots fall to 6-11 following the loss.

Rowan was led by outside hitter Karen Ramirez (fr. Bogota, NJ/Bogota) who had 11 kills, 11 digs, and five service aces. Outside hitter Alexis Louie (so. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) added 14 kills and six digs. Setter Chrissy McKay (fr. Paramus, NJ/Paramus) posted 27 assists, nine digs, and six service aces.

Middle hitter Megan Foster (sr. Pasadena, MD) led the Patriots with 11 kills, 18 digs, and eight assists. Setter Tiffany Hulett (so. Cape Coral, FL) recorded 17 assists and eight digs. Outside hitter Amanda Gauthier (so. Cheshire, CT) contributed five kills and 26 digs.

Rowan returns to conference play with a trip to Rutgers-Camden on Tuesday, October 3 at 7 p.m.
