DOVER, DE – Midfielder Jade Martin scored the only goal for Wesley College in a 1-0 win over ninth ranked Rowan University on Thursday.

Wesley improves to 5-5 on the season, while Rowan has a 6-3 record. Martin (so. Cape May, NJ/Lower Cape May Reg.) knocked in the game winning goal off a pass from forward Rachael Onorato (sr. Phillipsburg, NJ/Pillipsburg) at 69:27 in the second half.

The Wolverines outshot the Profs, 14-8. Wesley goalie LeAnne Hyslop (sr. Bayville, NJ/Central Reg.) made four saves for her third shutout of the season. Goalie Amanda Cucinotti (jr. Voorhees, NJ/Cherry Hill E.) stopped eight shots for Rowan.

Rowan hosts third ranked The College of New Jersey in a conference game on Tuesday, October 3 at 7 p.m.
