GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women’s volleyball team defeated Immaculata University, 3-1 in a nonconference match on Saturday.

The Profs have won three straight matches and improve to 6-10 overall. The Mighty Macs fall to 2-13 on the season.

Rowan won with game scores of 30-21, 30-32, 30-13 and 30-24. Outside hitter Alexis Louie (so. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) had a match-high 23 kills and a .348 hitting percentage. She also compiled 12 digs. Outside hitter Karen Ramirez (fr. Bogota, NJ/Bogota) totaled 13 kills, six aces and 17 digs. Setter Chrissy McKay (fr. Paramus, NJ/Paramus) recorded 34 assists and 12 digs.

For Immaculata, middle blocker Jayme Lenosky (fr. Reading, PA/Holy Name) posted 15 kills, seven digs and four blocks. Outside hitter Alexis Erazo (so. Bronx, NY/Lehman) contributed 10 kills and nine digs. Setter Meredith Smith (jr. Centreville, VA/Bishop O’Connell) had 15 assists.

Rowan hosts Philadelphia Biblical University on Tuesday, October 10 at 7 p.m.
