GLASSBORO, NJ – The University of Scranton men’s soccer team beat Rowan University, 1-0 in a nonconference game on Wednesday.

Forward Tim Logan (jr. Spotswood, NJ/Spotswood) had Scranton’s goal at 66:32. He dribbled into the box and shot the ball into the top right corner of the goal. It was Logan’s seventh goal of the season.

Scranton outshot Rowan, 18-8. Royals’ goalie David Keib (sr. Clarks Summit, PA/Scranton Prep) stopped five shots for his fifth shutout. Goalie Anthony Clemente (sr. Kendall Park, NJ/South Brunswick) made eight saves for the Profs.

The Royals improve to 7-2-1 overall, while the Profs have a 7-5-2 record. Rowan travels to Medgar Evers College on Monday, October 9 for a 4 p.m. nonconference game.
