SELINSGROVE, PA – The Rowan University women’s volleyball team dropped its last two matches at the Hampton Inn Crusader Classic on Saturday. York College (PA) and Richard Stockton College both had 3-0 wins over Rowan.

York won the match, 30-17, 30-28 and 30-14. Rowan was led by outside hitter Alexis Louie (so. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) with 12 kills. Outside hitter Karen Ramirez (fr. Bogota, NJ/Bogota) contributed with seven kills and 10 digs. Setter Chrissy McKay (fr. Paramus, NJ/Paramus) totaled 18 assists.

In the Stockton match, Ramirez had eight kills and six digs. She was named to the All-Tournament team. McKay registered 19 assists and two service aces. The Ospreys had game scores of 30-11, 30-12 and 30-13. Richard Stockton was the champion with a 4-0 tournament record.

The Profs have an overall record of 6-17. Rowan returns home for its final match of the regular season on Tuesday, October 24 against New Jersey City University at 7 p.m.
