At the NYC Gotham Cup, Owens (so. Newnan, GA/West Windsor-Plainsboro N.) took third place in the long jump with 23’ 2” (7.06 m). His distance is tied for seventh in Division III.

He currently has the team’s top time of 7.23 in the 60 meter dash. Owens ranks first in the New Jersey Athletic Conference in the long jump and sixth in the 60 meters.
