At the Worcester Polytechnic Institute Gompei Invitational, Gillooly (jr. Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill E.) took first place in the 100 backstroke (49.16) and 100 freestyle (45.35).  His time in the 100 backstroke was a NCAA B cut and he broke his school record.  
 
He recorded a NCAA B cut and improved on his University mark in the 200 backstroke prelims with a time of 1:48.11.  Gillooly swam on the first place 200 freestyle relay that finished in 1:23.08.  He had a time of 20.43 on the 200 free relay, which was a NCAA B cut.  The junior anchored the 400 freestyle relay that won with a NCAA B cut time of 3:02.90.
 
Gillooly was a member of the winning 200 medley relay (1:30.17), second place 400 medley relay (3:21.91) and the second place 800 freestyle relay (6:54.31). The 200 medley relay’s time was a NCAA B cut.  
 
For his performance, he was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Week for the second time this season.
