Mallard (fr. Washington, NJ/Warren Hills Reg.) was the women’s basketball team’s top scorer in a 3-0 week. She averaged 17.0 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. The guard contributed with 12 assists and seven steals.
In the 102-65 win over Delaware Valley University, Mallard scored 17 points and grabbed six rebounds. She produced 15 points and seven boards in the first round victory versus Western Connecticut State (88-86) in the Hunter Tip-Off Tournament. She led the Profs with 19 points and nine rebounds in the championship, 94-57 over Hunter. The freshman was selected the Most Valuable Player of the tournament. She was also the New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week.
