At the NCAA Division III Championships, Garland (so. Glassboro, NJ/Deptford Twp.) was an All-American in the 110 meter hurdles.  He came in third with a time of 14.40.  In the prelims, he finished fifth in 14.38.
 
Garland was on the 4x100 meter relay that came in 12^th with a time of 41.50.  He was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Track Athlete of the Week for the second straight week.
