Owens (so. Newnan, GA/West Windsor-Plainsboro N. (NJ)) took first place in the long jump at the Swarthmore Final Qualifier Meet. He had a distance of 21’ 9.50” (6.64 meters).

This season, his best performance in the long jump was 22’ 11.75” (7.0 meters) at the Coach Pollard Invitational.
