Linebacker Drew Yezzi (jr. Franklinville, NJ/Delsea Reg.) posted a team-high 12 tackles in Rowan’s 39-24 win over William Paterson University (Sept. 27). He also had 3.5 tackles for a loss (-16 yards), one sack (-9 yards) and forced one fumble. The Profs’ defense held the Pioneers to 17 yards rushing. Yezzi is Rowan’s leading tackler with 28 stops (17 solo, 11 assisted). In the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) statistics, he is third in tackles per game (9.3).
