Serreino (sr. Jackson, NJ/Jackson Liberty) was the winning pitcher in the first game, 11-2 at Rutgers-Newark. He threw 8.1 innings and allowed three hits and two runs. Serreino recorded 16 strikeouts and broke the school record, which was 15.
