At the Metropolitan Championships, Timmins (jr. Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill E.) won the 500 and 1650 freestyles with times of 5:01.98 and 17:07.70 respectively.  Her time in the 1650 improved on her school record of 17:14.08 and was a NCAA B cut (17:33.72).
 
She also swam on the second place 800 freestyle relay that finished in 7:55.81.  Timmins had a fourth place in the 200 freestyle (1:55.99). She was named the Swimmer of the Meet and the New Jersey Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Week.
