Riley Giles (so. Deptford, NJ/Deptford Twp.) passed for a career high 227 yards in the football team’s 22-6 conference win over William Paterson University on Saturday, Sept. 15.

The quarterback had 33 completions in 40 attempts and a 13 yard touchdown pass. Giles also carried the ball four times for 17 yards. In three games, he has thrown for 503 yards with 64 completions (83 attempts) and two TDs. Giles is ranked fifth in the conference in passing yards per game (167.7), pass efficiency (133.6) and total offense (180.7).

The football team is undefeated with a 3-0 record and a 2-0 mark in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. Rowan travels to Frostburg State University on Saturday, Sept. 22 for a 1 p.m. conference game.
