Jesse DeDomenico (so. East Windsor, NJ/Hightstown) helped lead the softball team to the NCAA regional title. She recorded three wins, giving up just three earned runs in 20.1 innings while striking out 24. In the first game of the championship series against Randolph-Macon College, DeDomenico hurled a complete game two-hitter while striking out 11 in the 7-1 win to force a decisive second contest. She also no-hit both the College of Staten Island and Penn State Berks in four innings apiece. DeDomenico helped her cause at the plate, going 8-for-18 with a double, three RBIs and four runs scored. She was chosen the regional’s Most Outstanding Player and earned NJAC Pitcher of the Week honors for the fifth time.
