Jeffrey Tucker (sr. Voorhees, NJ/Eastern Reg.) won the high jump at the Coach P Invitational (April 14) with a school and meet record height of 7’ 1.5” (2.17 m). He broke the 36-year-old University mark of 7’ 0.75” (2.15 m) held by Peter Sharpless (1982). Tucker’s leap is also the best in Division III. He is the only athlete to clear the seven-foot mark this season. Tucker was named the Division III Athlete of the Week by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
