Left hander Ryan Kulik (sr. Marlton, NJ/Cherokee) led the baseball team to a 6-2 victory over The College of New Jersey (May 1) in th the first round of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championship Tournament. Kulik pitched 8.1 innings, allowing only one earned run. He gave up five hits and struckout 11 batters. He surpassed Josh Schwartz’s career strikeout record (305 from 2002-05) and now has 316 in 51 career games. He was named the NJAC Pitcher of the Year and to the All-Conference first team. This season, Kulik is 8-2 with a 1.77 earned run average and 123 strikeouts, which is first in Division III.
