Kevin Veltre (sr. Brick, NJ/Brick Mem.) broke a 37-year-old school record at the Bomber Invitational (Feb. 3). He won the 3000 meters with a time of 8:25.84, surpassing the University mark of 8:30.74 set by Greg Rapp in 1981. Veltre’s time is currently second in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) and ranks ninth in NCAA Division III. He was named the NJAC Track Athlete of the Week.
