Will Cardona (sr. Livingston, NJ/Livingston) had a record-breaking performance at the Ramapo Season Opener (Jan. 19). He came in second in the weight throw with a University mark of 53’ 9” (16.38 m). Cardona posted the distance on his fourth attempt. He bested the previous record of 51’ 8.5” (15.76 m), which was set by Blake Ballas in 2016. Cardona also finished third (44’ 6.75”, 13.58 m) in the shot put.
