Forward Ramon Wright (jr. East Orange, NJ/Irvington) averaged a double-double with 16.5 points and 10.0 rebounds in the men’s basketball team’s two games last week. He was 10-of-16 from the field, including 5-for-8 from beyond the arc, and added six blocks, four assists and three steals. Wright tallied 16 points and 11 boards in an 81-79 win at Kean University (Jan. 3). He followed with a 17-point, nine-rebound effort in a 79-76 defeat against New Jersey City University (Jan. 6). Wright leads the squad in rebounding (9.5 rpg), blocks (49) and steals (28).
