Kevin Veltre (sr. Brick, NJ/Brick Mem.) captured the individual title at the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championships (Oct. 28). He finished the 8K course in 24:38, 52 seconds ahead of the second place runner. Veltre’s performance led the men’s cross country team to the NJAC title, their first since 1993 and ending TCNJ’s 23-year reign as conference champions. He was named the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association National Athlete of the Week for Division III and was the NJAC Runner of the Week for the fourth time this season.
