Outside hitter Taylor Modica (fr. Newark, DE/Appoquinimink) was a bright spot in the volleyball team’s four matches last week. She produced 47 kills, 2.47 per set, while adding 33 digs, three aces, two blocks, and two assists. Modica tied her season high with 16 kills in a 3-1 win over Arcadia University (Oct. 7). She added 12 and 10 kills against Montclair State University (Oct. 3) and Shenandoah University (Oct. 7) respectively. Modica also topped her season mark in digs with nine against Arcadia. She was tabbed the NJAC Rookie of the Week.
