Sean Corey (so. Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill E.) won the javelin at the Collegiate Track Conference (CTC) Championships. He had a career best throw of 215’ 5” (65.65 meters) and it was a NCAA automatic qualifier (205’ 1”, 62.50 meters). Corey previously had an automatic qualifier of 214’ 6.5” (65.39 meters) at the Wake Forest Invitational (Mar. 21). He currently has the top throw in Division III this season. For his performance, Corey was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Field Athlete of the Week for the third time this year.
