Pitcher Lauren Shannon (fr. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) picked up three wins in the circle last week for the softball team. She allowed just two earned runs in 14.1 innings. Shannon earned the win in relief in the first game of a doubleheader against The College of New Jersey (Apr. 11), tossing four hitless innings. She then hurled a complete game one-hitter in the nightcap, surrendering just one earned run in the five-inning win. Shannon ended the week with a complete game two-hitter against New Jersey City University (Apr. 15), striking out six batters. She earned her second straight NJAC Rookie Pitcher of the Week honor.
