Dave Benjamin (jr. Freehold, NJ, Freehold Twp.) won the national title in the 60 meter hurdles (March 11) at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships. His time of 7.98 was a school and facility record. Benjamin had the previous Rowan mark of 7.99 while the Al B. Carius Track record was 8.04. An All-American, he was also selected the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Athlete of the Week.
