Mike Simunek (sr. Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill E.) set four school records and won four events at the Metropolitan Collegiate Championships (Feb. 17-19). He claimed Met titles in both the 100 and 200 breaststroke with respective times of 56.07 and 2:03.18. Simunek also secured second place in the 200 individual medley (1:52.64). He was a member of the Profs' first place 200 and 400 medley relays which produced respective times of 1:30.66 and 3:18.83. The performances by Simunek helped Rowan claim the Met team championship for the second consecutive season. He was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Swimmer of the Week.
