Jesse Novak (sr. Bridgewater, NJ/Bridgewater-Raritan) was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Swimmer of the Week for the second time this year. Novak posted four NCAA B cut times at the WPI Gompei Invitational. He improved on his 50 freestyle time with a 19.91 to top the field and hit the NCAA standard. Novak also posted a B cut in the 100 free (43.82) and took first. He clocked a 49.84 in the 100 butterfly, placing second. Novak swam a leg of the school-record-setting 800 free relay (6:44.43), which also hit the B standard. He helped the 400 free relay to a B cut time of 3:03.33 and the 200 free relay to a time of 1:23.82.
