Forward Shane Doherty (so. Delran, NJ/Delran) helped lead the men’s soccer team to the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championship Game with his goal in the semifinals against The College of New Jersey (Nov. 1). Doherty hit the back of the net unassisted with just 6:38 to play in the 1-0 victory. He totaled 14 shots, nine on goal, in the Profs’ two tournament contests. Rowan finished as the conference runner-up and received an at-large bid to the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament.
